Re: Is it possible my eyes can only see a very small difference between 60hz and 240hz?
You gotta be really trained to spot the differences, or it just depends on how sensitive to latency differences you are. Use it for a while on the max refresh rate and then switch back, and you should 100% notice the differences. If it works like intended on the MacBook... Don't think I have heard ...

Assuming you're talking about this then tl;dr use Black Frame insertion or get a monitor with a higher refresh rate. https://blurbusters.com/the-stroboscopic-effect-of-finite-framerate-displays/ That’s really sad lol. So my eyes just don’t function properly? Also damn what a solution, if 240hz does...

Is it possible my eyes can only see a very small difference between 60hz and 240hz?
Title. So, I have a Viewsonic XG2431. I had it connected to my MacBook Pro M1 Pro and set to 240hz. I didn’t really notice any difference at all from the laptop’s ProMotion 120hz display (which is really just a tad bit smoother 60hz as it’s still about as blurry as any other normal laptop). My concl...

Help: MacBook Pro not displaying true 240hz on XG2431
Title. Basically I just bought the ViewSonic XG2431. I connected it to my M1 Pro MBP via DP 1.4, and while it does say in settings I have it set to 240hz... it looks just as blurry as my Mac's display? Like if it was on 60hz still. Same thing with TestUFO. Seems like it does detect my screen at 240h...

Re: HOWTO: Settings For Full Panel Crosstalk-Free Low-Lag Strobing (ViewSonic XG2431)
Chief, when are we gonna get a tutorial about QFT modes for the XL2566K (BenQ 360hz)? And how low do you reckon we could go with it? I'm guessing as low as 100hz but I don't know, I'd be satisfied with 120hz. A generic QFT HOWTO is being created for the main Blur Busters website soon. Usually you'r...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Honest question - why clip the 1080p/s ... it's clearly worst of the three. Both 960 and 1920 seem good. IMG_0919.JPG The thing is that.. it doesn´t matter. Because all of them seem rubbish to me and I refuse to play with that trail.. why would I if there are models without it? That´s my point I co...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
390hz Acer on the left 100%. The right one is the HP Omen X 25 maybe? Yeah, I agree. However, on my XV252QF I can see the three lines on the UFO clearer than that and there appears to be less ghosting. It's probably because I use extreme for OD. Also agree 100%. Notty's pic doesn't say much tbh. 2 ...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Let´s play a game! 2 different monitors compared at 1080 pps. One of them is Acer Nitro 390hz with overdrive normal. You decide wich one seems faster, left or right. Afterwards, I will reveal wich one is the Acer and what is the other monitor https://i.imgur.com/I9gyDG2.png 390hz Acer on the left 1...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
I really have problems in cs go to spot enemies compared to XL2540. Models do not stand out from backround somehow. Everything so dark and colorless. Maybe the Zowie was the other extreme and I need to adapt? Playing/aiming feels really good and I would like to keep the acer. Can someone share sett...
