Re: Bought the HP Omen X 25f
You might as well use G-Sync with it since it has no drawback on input lag.

Re: Nitro XF252Q vs Omen X 25F
Am I correct in thinking that BFI only works at half refresh rate? Because to insert a black frame between each normal frame at 240hz would require the monitor to be capable of 480hz. And sacrificing half of my refresh rate for BFI isn't something I'd do, because it's increasing input lag yeah? Acc...

Re: Nitro XF252Q vs Omen X 25F
In my opinion the Omen X 25f is still better because of generally lower input lag even with G-Sync. There is also no huge difference between both response times and on the pictures the Omen even looks a bit less blurry. If you want pure gaming and dont need features like HDR and Motion Blur Reductio...

Re: time response, its not 1 ms with Asus PG 258 ~~
The linked images don't work for me. But I can clarify your problem anyway. I'm pretty sure that you confuse response time and frame latency here. What you see in Fortnite and other games is just the time it takes to render your frames, nothing affected by your monitor. To improve the Monitor's resp...

Re: 24gl600f
I sent rtings an email asking about this, they said they did not have it on the correct setting so they retested the monitor and updated their number. Awesome. Now that number makes more sense. Still not sure if the input lag for VRR should be the same though. Maybe they only tested Native Resoluti...

Default was at Full Wide, so I had to change it. I can't really tell if it's much better.sdx wrote:Was it already defaulted to original or did you have to change it to original?

Re: 24gl600f
I wonder if they weren't using the correct setting for monitor resolution as this monitor may have the same issue as LG 27GK750F-B where it must be set to "original mode" in the OSD for best input lag? It's odd that the non-native resolutions have lower input lag than native in their test, right? I...

Re: 24gl600f
The input lag seems kinda underwhelming.
