Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
Hello my friend, I own the same model monitor as you and have been overclocking the refresh rate to exceed 144hz for roughly a year and a half now. However, I have never managed to break past 211hz on my xl2411p. I'm curious, how in the world did you manage to achieve such a high refresh rate on th...

Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
Any body having xl2411p oced to 200hz??? Am having issue Turn off instant mode and see if it goes above 150hz. I had the same issue on my older benq, exactly at 150 as well, might be for the same reason. Alternatively what also works is using a lower horizontal (below 1400 total) total and then goi...

Re: XL2411P feels slow, unresponsive and shows vertical lines on the monitor
If I had to guess I'd say it is possible that something driver/OS wise is causing the monitor to change its refresh rate in real time without it being properly handled by the monitor, which would explain why it behaves differently between instant mode on/off, as they have very different ways of deal...

Re: XL2411P feels slow, unresponsive and shows vertical lines on the monitor
Replied to another post, it seems to be problem with this model of monitor, I don't know about others. I'm having this happen to me aswell, input lag + horizontal lines. Unplug/plug or turn off/on monitor fixes it temporarily but it comes back. My monitor is out of warranty, it was manufactured ear...

Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
May I see your 440 Hz CRU screenshot? https://i.imgur.com/IwRFKN0.png https://i.imgur.com/vaIUuk7.png Pretty much any common values can get to 400-500hz, but nothing I change seems to matter either I don't think this monitor behaves in a very obvious way about the way it glitches. I have tried lots...

Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
Thank you very much for the detailed write up. I'll read it properly and give it a try later. I have been following your site ever since 2013 (which is what made me buy this monitor at the time actually!) so I'm somewhat familiar with the concepts, but never really had to tweak an overclock to this ...

Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
Interesting exception. Thanks for that photo, that 260 Hz overclock is quite crazy high -- almost a 2:1 overlock margin! I wonder if minor adjustments to Horizontal numbers creates any change to those artifacts. If you have any suggestions I'd happily try it >:) Even with the glitches it is so awes...

Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
IMPORTANT: Older T-Series Will NOT work (all models older then XL2430T) How come is this inaccurate information still being provided? I posted proof a while ago of a xl2420t running at 244hz without any frameskipping issues. As long as you keep the pixel clock below 330MHz (i believe this is a limi...

Re: Interesting project about mouse/ gamepad latency
I'm a bit late to this but I'd like to add my input as someone who has been closely following the humanbenchmark scoreboard for at least 3 years. It still exists btw! It is just not linked anywhere on the site anymore: https://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime/leaderboard However, in the beg...

Re: BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz
Oh I see, that is unfortunate then. thanks for the information!
However... it does seem to work for me though? just not on high resolutions. I set it as high as 240hz and it didn't appear to be frameskipping on the test
