Re: Recommendations for a great 1080p high refresh rate moni

Get the Acer XF252Q or the gsync equivalent if money isn't n issue. if moneys tight get the Acer XF250Q(250$) i own this one too. Its has a better picture, faster and overall better than my PG258Q. With custom timings all make a good x3 240hz setup when i play those few game that a compatible.

Re: higher input lag since switching to zen 2 (high speed te

Hey what ram speed where you running for zen 1 and now zen 2. showed my buddie this post and brought that up. Assuming they are both using the same speed while zen2 asks for 3600Mhz. interested in seeing this test with a spectrum in ram speed.

Re: MSI 240hz 0.5ms GSync or Acer 0.3ms Freesync?

Acer XF252Q by a long shot. I really like mine.

and doesn't the MSI .5ms only have 350 nits Brightness? Go with the acer it has 400 and fake HDR (the monitor comps handles the HDR but the panel cant actually display it  )

XF252Q Overclocking Software LOCKED!

When attempting to overclock my XF252Q to 241hz the monitor goes black and displays something like "unsupported input" in BIG RED letters. I'm very disappointed at Acer for this one. I Have a XF250Q and i can overclock it to 255hz STABLE!! (runs 257hz but blinks). I had high hopes the XF252Q would o...
