This is more likely red KSF phosphor decay rather than intentional red frame insertion. It's used for expanding color gamut but it adds artifacts to backlight strobing. Depends on the price. Unless they are real cheap I wouldn't get any of these personally. May I ask why not something newer and faster? There should be cheap 240Hz options.
