Probably the most suitable one. Whichever panel tech has the least limitation at the time will be first. I don't think that's gonna be TN. The TN production trajectory has fallen down significantly.

Re: TestUFO Suggestions and Ideas
Yes, it is a great database! I do wish more sync tracks was visible, because the accuracy of the pursuits in the database vary widely. Error margins are measurable if the sync track is visible. But sometimes you gotta take what you can get, e.g. a reviewer contributing a pursuit photo that doesn't ...

No probs. Just realized UFO Motion Test Database is full of pursuit camera samples. We could of just checked there if we knew the model name. Btw database just reached 400 monitors!

Re: Looking to replace my ASUS VG279QM. Not sure what to buy.
How did you measure the results? This looks like a software based solution, so I'm assuming your using a software based solution to measure the input lag? For context I'm using a hardware based solution the leo bodnar tester to measure the input lag. Also after doing some research it may be possibl...

This is more likely red KSF phosphor decay rather than intentional red frame insertion. It's used for expanding color gamut but it adds artifacts to backlight strobing. Red pulse doesn't go full off instantly, it decays, so the image leaks through. https://blurbusters.com/beautiful-red-phosphor-in-n...

Re: Looking to replace my ASUS VG279QM. Not sure what to buy.
Long story short. I purchased the VG279QM, and didn't realize this thing is insanely slow when it comes to console 60hz gaming. I will be returning it (unless someone knows a fix), but I haven't been able to find what I feel is a suitable replacement, or if it looks suitable I can't find much info ...

Re: VG249QM1A motion blur reduction ufo tests / reviews ?
Hello, I can't find any ufo test or any review for the VG249QM1A at 270hz with motion blur reduction at max level. I've find and read the manual and I saw that elmb have 5 levels AND have a position adjustment (in order to lower the crosstalk). So, I'm mixed to buy this monitor, or the AOC 24G2ZE w...

Re: I'm having trouble understanding (Variable) Overdrive...
But it does get complicated -- multidimensional overdrive where you're using maybe two previous frametimes, as well as the color associated. May I ask how color mapping works? Do normal colors when desaturated have the same transition curves as greyscale? For example color transition from RGB 255-2...
