AW2518HF doesn't have any adaptive sync option in OSD. It can only be enabled/disabled through nvidia cp or radeon software.
I think for nvidia gpu best setting would be normal overdrive. If u like freesync make sure you cap your fps ~5 fps below the set refreshrate.

My VG279QM arrived and it doesn't have such issue (firmware MCM103), but its still definitely slower than my other 60Hz monitors.
Some reviewers reported around 35ms of lag, mine is at least half of that.

Is the asus worth getting over the BenQ Zowie XL2540K ? I haven't used any Zowie monitor and came to conclusion that the only thing that Zowie is good at is DYAC+/backlight strobing, for anything else it's not worth getting. So if you need best strobing get CRT, if u need slim CRT get Zowie haha :D

Do you own this monitor? What about refresh rates set above 60Hz; 75, 85 or 100Hz? At what point does it stop?

Well, I'll be damned! Just realized that it could be a profile before seeing your answers, cause it doesn't make sense.
I ordered it today and am excited to play with it just like a kid little haha . The monitor is not perfect but tweeking those setting gets my blood flowing. Is that weird?
