Re: LG - GL83A-B - Advise on vsync and general performance
When using any adaptive-sync tech the goal is to always stay inside variable refresh rate range (in this case 48-144Hz/fps). If fps just peaks over that line you will see tears. 143 fps cap in some games can be too high as some engines frame delivery can fluctuate more then others. So try playing wi...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
OD120 is achievable by entering the service menu ( press the power button and hold menu (5-way), then press menu again and it will pop up on top left, there will be a small "F" for the service menu, click on it) Can you modify PWM value in service menu or is it locked? Im on MCM103 and its missing ...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
The problem lay when I use fullscreen exclusive mode, while gsync is still functioning due to the indicator, and OSD, the monitor is reporting 240hz, and my ingame FPS is stuck at 239-240 with fluctuations. If I disable v-sync my FPS obeys the cap I set, but my monitor is still reporting 240hz. Mak...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Why would they want to hide the 120OD? I would love to turn it on, but isn't it dangerous? idk much about monitors and etc, but maybe it's killing the monitor way faster or something OD 120 is less aggressive than fully available OD 100 (in-between 80 and 100, it should of been called OD 90). Also ...

Re: Upgrading AW2521HF...AW2721D vs AW2521H
Hey man, So you want to go with 1440p 27" to get better PPI, crispier image? IPS, 240Hz? To benefit from latency reduction tech (NULL, in-game Reflex) gpu utilization must be 99-100% (highly gpu bound). Just use in-game limiters an set fps slightly under refresh rate value to avoid higher input lag....

New GIGABYTE Aim Stabilizer SYNC - ASUS ELMB SYNC
New GIGABYTE monitors AORUS FI32Q and M32Q (32" 1440p IPS 170Hz) will support backlight strobing and adaptive sync working simultaneously. just like ASUS's ELMB SYNC technology. They will call it Aim Stabilizer Sync (ASS). Hopefully it doesn't perform "ass" bad :D. Specifications lists M32Q 1ms GtG,...
