Re: Need advice on a 1440P IPS monitor set and forget settings

Than better go with higher refresh rate if u want to feel like you've upgraded. Even tho coming from 180 to 240Hz isn't a massive difference. 360Hz would be better, halving the mprt blur. But there are no 360Hz 1440p options YET. There is XV272U Xbmiiphzx. User sk1p claims its best IPS he tried. EVE...

Re: Need advice on a 1440P IPS monitor set and forget settings

Almost every monitor has set and forget option it just depends on if u care about response times. If u want best overdrive than I assume you do. What is your current monitor? Have you ever experienced high refresh rate? 27GP83B is actually a good option for your needs. 27GP850 can be found at simila...

Re: RTINGS Suggest-a-Monitor

Looking forward to RTINGS review. Someone should remind them of importance of reviewing BFI and guide them properly. I just hope they do a good job on this one.

Re: What the Best tn monitor

Keep your current monitor. Getting any new TN wouldn't really feel as proper upgrade motion blur wise. Maybe wait for something new to come out if u really need it. There are rumors of new 360Hz TN panels.

If u don't need strobing I recommend cheaper S2522HG or 24G2ZU (or ZE). Aoc has strobing and its priced similarly.

What’s the brightness loss like though? Based on Bijan’s video it looks like to actually be able to achieve XL2546K levels of blur reduction it loses a lot of brightness, in some cases rendering it unusable. Is that accurate? The main thing stopping me from buying a pair of these still is I can’t t...

Oh wow man, its a first! Confirmed fast IPS, a little faster panel than 2019 gen. Seems to be as nicely tuned as XG270. It would be great if u managed to get 0-100 times because as you know 10-90 are a bit misleading. Did you do some overshoot (%) measurements by any chance? There should be no noti...
