PG259QN has a GSYNC module. If u want to use it with AMD gpus just enable it in Radeon Software and in monitor OSD (G-SYNC Processor) if available. U can quickly enable "FPS Counter" inside OSD, play the game and test if it works.

Re: Simulating TN colors on IPS

Unless you use backlight strobing (most people don't) like "Dyac" or "1ms Mode" you are not going to benefit from TN panel. XG2405 is already a fast IPS I believe, so that puts it in a same or similar response time region as XL241K. So buying TN panel in 2021 in not a reasonable choice after all. C...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF

Guys anyone knows how much better is this in comparison with the VG279QM? I could get the Asus for $330 or the Acer for $550. I play CSGO (400 fps) and 1.6 (capped at 100 fps). Heard the input lag on VG279QM is really bad with low framerates? Only if you set it to fixed resolution like [email protected]...

Oh yeah, its getting closer!

I wonder what panel type is that 480Hz? This must be like 19" :) .

Notice how they used 1000Hz AW558 mouse for 480Hz display.

Depends on many things but main ones would be panel type, generation and strobing. Here are some examples for IPS, TN and VA.

Gigabyte's M32Q is the one I'd go with. Hopefuly you have a monitor arm so you don't need to look at those ugly monitor legs.
I'm very curious how their aim stabilizer sync (vrr strobing) looks like at 80Hz.
