I have Acer xv272ux, the best 240hz panel I have ever used, so highly recommend ACER XB273UGX (g-sync version)
What exactly made you like this monitor? What were your previous model/s?

Re: Blurinator 9000 - Blur simulation software

Want to post more feedback? Do tell! I tried to get exactly the same sample-and-hold ufos like on my VG279QM (@280Hz OD80) and the results are extremely close. But I couldn't replicate things like slight overshoot mixed together with ghosting. It was either or one or other. So it feels like oversho...

Try to disable "adaptiveSync" in OSD, when I enable "adaptiveSync" DDC/CI is also grayed out in OSD
Disabling Adaptive-Sync enabled DDC/CI but I still have the same not supported message. That is interesting.

Re: Asus vg279qm Help

Just checked other versions. When I open DisplayWidget I get the message monitor is not supported and can only exit the app. Checked OSD and DDC/CI is greyed out (Display Data Channel / Command Interface is a type of communication between the computer and the monitor). I don't know how to enable it....

Re: Asus vg279qm Help

How did that happen? It is not officially supported. I downloaded it anyway from other monitors site and it did not work. Probably different versions.

Re: LF a monitor with best image quality, with good refresh rate? (Even 144hz is fine)

Avoid VA panels. It's picture quality is in between IPS and VA and response times are very slow. IPS is the best you can get now (or expensive and big OLED). Hopefully someone else can suggest some monitors, I can't.

Its a shame theres no software for this model.
ASUS DisplayWidget definitely doesn't support VG279QM (and VG259QM). I tried it already.

Re: Asus vg279qm Help

I have all other settings on default, that means ASCR off 100%.
Customized setings/presets are available but it doesn't save GamePlus features.
You can set GamePlus shortcut to a button then it takes 4 clicks to enable crosshair.

Re: Monitor advice for PUBG

You only loose brightness if you enable backlight strobing/motion blur reduction feature (every manufacturer calls this different e.g. Asus ELMB, Zowie DYAC, Acer VRB, LG MBR...) Most people don't use this so I'll suppose you don't either, so there's not brightness penalty for you. You should compar...

Re: Monitor advice for PUBG

EX2510 seems very good but there is not enough review and there is a post on reddit about ghosting. EX25/2710 is one of the better 144Hz IPS monitors out there in terms of response times/ghosting. There are alot of reviews for EX2510 if not hundreds of them, these are some: Hardware Unboxed - https...
