Re: New Zowie Monitor 540Hz XL2586X
Maybe this gives u some idea. Its some form of rolling backlight. 11:37-12:03 - 14:53-15:25 https://youtu.be/9yHNUVL0W-k?si=G0W6lHnSDomYs8n5&t=893 Intent is to reduce full screen strobe crosstalk. It might help, but I wouldn't expect it to be a massive improvement ( DyAc 1.5 ). There is not enough i...

100 nits difference would also be misinformation. What settings are u comparing?daviddave1 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2023, 14:25Keep in mind the PG27AQN gets arround 100! nits darker then the XL2566K Dyac with ULMB2 on. It's was a very dark screen in my opinion with ULMB2 on. Unplayable even.

Keep in mind 250-270 nits is not "very dark" for everyone.daviddave1 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2023, 14:25Keep in mind the PG27AQN get very dark with ULMB2 on. I would keep the XL2566K in any way over the PG27AQN if you like competitive play.

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!
I tried 60 and it felt like I was going blind, despite I visually matched the pulse width brightness to my normal brightness levels. I've since set it to 100 and turned down brightness normally. It seemingly has nothing to do with brightness, it has something to do with how long you can see the ima...

Re: Should BFI improve motion blur when I am moving
To see improvements of BFI you must eye-track something in motion. If not eye-tracking you won't benefit from it. With stationary-gaze stroboscopic effect becomes an issue which can only be fixed with ultra high refresh/frame rate or mitigated with in-game motion blur.

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!
I could not believe anyone would play on a monitor with 150 nits or even 30 nits. And did not understand why these options are in there. It had to be a mistake the way Hardware unboxed CASUALLY said that 150nits! is a good balance between playabilty and motionblur deductibility Evidently these peop...
