Re: My ViewSonic XG270 + PureXP™ Tweaks (ICC Download) [Advanced Users]
Great guide man, handy, but AWARE those tryin to use this ICC profile. That can, but may not work. As matter of fact, I just bought this same monitor, updated firmware, and at start to get lowest dE at begining of measurment I had to set my RGB values 83, 85, 87 and set contrast to 81. And even with...

Re: 144hz (on MBR) vs 240hz (off MBR)
I am using my benq xl2546 with 144hz strobing all the time now. Prefer this than 240Hz strobed or no, and as strobed req good gpu/cpu combo playing 240Hz with MBR is not fun. Non strobed is quite good, but I hate any kind of blur. So I stick to 144Hz. Easier to maintain proper FPS in games.

Re: 240hz with strobing?
None so far. Best as far I know is Alienware AW251H with 144Hz Ulmb(which is enough imo), and then u have asus, acer or so few have 144Hz ULMB too. 240Hz with strobing is pointless IMO(unless you game only CS:GO or so, old/low req type FPS). One dip below 240Hz can ruin gaming experience very badly....

Re: Lightboost vs ULMB vs Benq BlurR. vs DyAc INPUT LAG
Ok So ATM I am using XL2720Z. Strobed, 120hz, with vt tweak for brightness. Looking on my options(I have 1080 in wardrobe, and radeon7 now in PC) I rather skip anything with g-sync module(aiming in ULMB, I am very sensitive to blur) but again, do not wanna take out rad7 for it... Like I was looking ...

Re: Firmware upgrade using Linux tool, requires no hardware
About color quality...it is little patchwork but u can use ur camera(phone camera) and app Color Grab to calibrate ur display. I tried that with my 2720 and colours are bit better. U just need grey pattern, like 30% or 80% grey and just use ur RGB sliders to take same readings in app, like 120/120/1...

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Maybe LG issue is just fw issue. Like mine was version 7, while viper has 6 as I reckon. LCD panels I saw seems to be from one production period only. And it is q3 2017 I think. Do not wanna open box and check it again, is ready to go to seller. My VT tricks seems too do not do nothing to crosstalk,...
