No, everything I know about PG258Q is from reviews and forum post. I would suggest it has slightly more ghosting based on my readings.

From my screenshots you can see that frametime graph is enabled. At 68% GPU load there is no point in reducing details. I think it is a panel issue. My Acer XN253QX has this too. I can see it when looking from above while screen is black.
Doesn't bother me as it isn't visible during normal gameplay. At least there's not a dead pixel.

Maybe try to set backlight to maximum brightness for a few days.
