Re: G-Sync - Laggy at <55fps, same for you ???
Hmmmmm.
Using 344.11 and ive got terrible mouse jerkiness in BF4 and Crysis 3 (only fpshooters ive got installed currently)
If I disable Gsync, its fine.
Enable Gsync, it occurs.
I can even see it in the ingame menus, if i just drag the mouse cursor across the screen, its like it gets stuck in ...

Re: PG278Q vs VG248QE
What do you guys think of this article saying the sweet spot for fast twitch gaming with gysnc is 50-60fps rather than the discussed 40fps above?

Re: How powerful a GPU required to run a new G-Sync Asus PG2
You will need at least GTX 780ti or Sli 760's and above to acheive decent frame rates.
In my experience with my new G-Sync monitor, you still need achive Min FPS in the region of 50 and above to have smooth gameplay.
Anything less and its still not smooth.
I have a GTX 780 heavily overclocked, and ...

Re: G-Sync - Laggy at <55fps, same for you ???
Ok good to see its not just me I guess
Im using a single GTX 780, and a Logitech G700s @1000hz polling rate and 1550dpi.
I will try to do some tests with a gamepad as had been mentioned here and see how that feels.

Re: GSync - Downsampling - Shader injectors (Sweetfx eFX etc
Just thought id update this thread as ive got the AOC Gsync monitor.
Downsampling works exactly as it should, just set up the custom resolutions at whatever refresh rates you want eg 2560 x 1440 p at 60hz, 85hz, 100hz, 120hz, 144hz.
These then all appear ingame and you can choose to your liking.

G-Sync - Laggy at <55fps, same for you ???
Im just posting to gauge what everyone's opinion is of how G-Sync feels at lower fps.
I got my AOC GSync monitor and whilst I love it (144hz from a 60hz monitor omg!!:)) the GSync aspect is slightly disappointing for me.
I was lead to believe from reviews that it made games smooth and playable ...

GSync - Downsampling - Shader injectors (Sweetfx eFX etc)
Guys/ Gals.
I'm very close to pulling the trigger on the AOC monitor available later this month.
I have a few little queries that i'm trying to find out first though, and this forum seems the most knowledgeable on GSync so far.
1) Is it possible to Downsample AND GSync at the same time ?
2) Can ...
