27" is not ideal for counter strike. I play @ 1024x768 on an Omen X25F, and I am very happy with it.

If I were to switch, I'd go with XL2546K but I am waiting on new tech.

Would the K version be worth it over the regular XL2546? The regular one is $30 off on Amazon right now, so I'm wondering if the 1/2 ms decrease in response time (because DyAc seems to be pretty much the same) is worth $30.

Omen X 25f is great for gaming.

I dont think your setup will get you >240 fps consistently. Your GPU is OK but your CPU is not. Look at i5-9400 if you are on a buget.

I play CSGO on a X 25f and couldnt be happier. I think it is a great gaming monitor.

The ergonomics are bad but I have a couple of Humanscale M2 monitor arms.

I have a similar setup (9700K + Asrock Z390) and I had stuttering/FPS spikes but mine happened when I moved the mouse. Something related to the mouse polling rate, changing it to 125hz would fix it. Then, someone posted that the fix was to disable C-States in BIOS and It worked.

That said, is it better to cap my fps down to match my 240hz monitor? (CS GO 400+ FPS)
