Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Hi guys, I have a problem with vg259qm. My windows display settings showing 279.857hz. and when I look at settings with cru, I see it is different from the default settings shared on the forum Nothing wrong, because it's a stock "280Hz" refresh rate and timings. And yes, refresh rate placement in C...

Why is AMA High better than Premium? Less inverse ghosting artifacts even with DyAc enabled = more comfortable gameplay to your eyes. Re: Why am I finding it easier to aim on 144Hz instead of 240Hz? (BenQ XL2546)
I think it's just better response time on lower refresh rates = more pixels in refresh rate window. I had this monitor and 180-200Hz felt better than "native" 240Hz (regardless of AMA settings). Specificity of the panel, like sk1p mentioned earlier. For best results with XL2546 use DyAc Premium + AM...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Can someone give me a good setting for this monitor, specific warzone. I want to see clear while having good frame. There are so many different settings on here. I'm not sure what to set up on my nvidia control panel setting either. I have a 2080 Ti Look up this post: https://forums.blurbusters.com...

Re: XL2546 doesnt look clear and sharp while moving, grid looking
Sounds like pixel inversion artifacts, typical for most TN panels. Try to disable DyAc and see how it looks after. https://www.testufo.com/inversion *How much did you pay for it? Honestly, not the best choice for 2021 gaming, unless you're using strobe mode (DyAc) or making money (esports). Get the ...

Found one more firmware (MCM105) inconsistency.
Toggling "Blue Light Filter" [ON(any)->OFF] resets "User Mode" color settings to RGB: 100-100-100.

Guys, can you please check VRR range? It seems advertised "48-240Hz" is actually 60-240 (61-280).
upd: figured out that must be how LFC works (early kick in). I really don't like VRR's choppy 60fps at 120Hz.

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
I have tried by chance to set the OD to 100 with frequencies below 200 hz and I was surprised that it is even better than OD 60 or 120 but with an almost imperceptible minimum of overshoot I'm pretty sure it's a firmware bug or inconsistency. Several people confirmed the same thing in this thread e...
