Thank you for the answer. I did some tests with V-Sync Off.
G-Sync Off + V-Sync Off (144Hz) = well, screen tearing (though not nearly as bad as back in the day on a 60Hz screen) and the whole feeling is very "shaky" all over the place (always hated V-Sync Off, can't stand it), gets worse around 70 ...

G-Sync feels way worse than plain V-Sync in CPU-heavy scenarios
I've been running into a VERY weird issue with G-Sync in certain games - mainly Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us Part I, and it's been bugging me for a while. Decided to come here, since I believe this is the only place I can get an actual, educated answer. And I really want to dig into this deeply ...

[G-Sync Compatible] Not working properly until I turn off and on my monitor
I have an ongoing problem with my monitor AOC 27G2U. It's a 144Hz G-Sync Compatible monitor. I have it configured according to G-Sync Optimized Settings (NVCP V-Sync "On", Low Latency "Enabled", RTSS cap at "141").
Basically, G-Sync is not always working properly, and instead it is producing ...

Re: Acer KG251QD 240Hz. What's the FreeSync range? Is it goo
Thank you for your in-depth reply, Chief. You really helped me. To be honest, I didn't know too much about LFC and how exactly does it work. At first I thought it was some kind of gimmick made by AMD as an excuse for the fact that not many FreeSync monitors offer the same lower range as GSync ones ...

Acer KG251QD 240Hz. What's the FreeSync range? Is it good?
Hello,
I am about to buy my first high refresh rate monitor. There's currently a nice sale in my country and I can buy Acer KG251QDBMIIPX for - roughly translating - around 206 USD. It's a 240Hz FreeSync monitor. I figured that since I can buy 240Hz for such price I might skip 144Hz altogether and ...

1/2 Refresh Rate - inconsistent input lag?
Sometimes, when I can't maintain stable 60 FPS in games, I tend to lock them at 30 FPS for more consistent experience. I play mostly RPGs / TPP games, so it's not really a problem for me. I vastly prefer "flat-line" 30 FPS than fluctuating 40-50. To do that and minimize the input lag, I use the ...
