Re: Input Lag when using 240hz screens in 120hz mode
Thank you for explaining. So i assume unless the monitor is listed under rtings, or i test it myself, there is almost no way to determine what input lag or response time a certain monitor will have when running with non native Hz modes? I was also wondering if a dedicated 60hz Monitor like the Benq ...

Re: Input Lag when using 240hz screens in 120hz mode
Thanks for your answer Chief, i really appreciate it. This game (Halo 5) is not on pc, so i have to play it on console. I prefer to play any game on my pc though and i got the screens almost purely for pc gaming. i looked my Omen x27 up on rtings ( https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/hp/omen-x-27...

Re: G-Sync obsolete with high refresh rate?
Thanks for answering, so unless i am reaching frames way above my refresh rate, there would be absolutely no reason not to use gsync from a latency standpoint?

G-Sync obsolete with high refresh rate?
Hello everyone, i do have two screens: The AW2518hf (240hz, 1080p, freesync, but gsync compatible) and the S2417DG (165hz, 1440p, gsync) When having gsync disabled i definitely notice heavy screen tearing in apex legends with my 165hz monitor. However when playing on my 240hz monitor i never experie...

Re: Lowest input lag for competitive games?
Thanks a lot for your detailed answer. So NULL only really benefits people plaing on lower end systems? I know it is intended for those, but thought it would actually give some sort of improvement regarding input lag even for higher end systems. At least it seems to do its job now, since the input l...

No ghosting when using super fast response time with gsync
So i recently turned gsync off (AW2518Hf) to see if i would feel any difference in responsiveness, while playing apex legends. After a few rounds i was browsing a bit and noticed that when scrolling down i had ghosting. When i first set up my monitor i tried out super fast response time and while mo...

Lowest input lag for competitive games?
This is my first post here on this forum. However i have read through most of the gsync guides and other guides aswell on this site and am very interested in the whole gsync subject. I was wondering what would give me the lowest input lag possible when playing a competitive game (Apex Legends, Fortn...
