Re: Benq Service+Factory Menus, VT info, AMA Low tweak

Any idea how to access the service/factory menu on the newer K models? (ex. XL2411K, XL2546K) Are those the ones with joysticks or only with buttons? The button ones should be the same as before, with maybe one of the positions different. Someone posted how to get into the joystick ones. Are you tr...

Re: Trace Free 60 or 80?

Don't mess with OD Gain unless you really seriously need to. It's only useful with Tracefree 80 (and barely unless you have extreme OCD), or with Lightboost mode (Forces OD gain to 0F. 0C or 0B looks very good with Lightboost mode). I tried using OD Gain with tracefree=100, but the inverse ghosting ...

Re: BenQ XL2546 (24.5" 240Hz TN) vs Alienware AW2521H (24.5" 360Hz Fast IPS)

240hz Strobed is VERY nice, especially if you don't have any crosstalk or inverse artifacts along with it. 360fps / 360hz vsync on is impossible to maintain in Overwatch at max detail and 100% stock render scale, even on a 10900k and RTX 3090 Founder's Edition, unless you start reducing settings. If...

Re: Trace Free 60 or 80?

Tracefree 60 has the best overshoot/undershoot balance, without having to play with "OD Gain" in the service menu.

Tracefree 80 if you want the absolute lowest input lag and response time (even though you won't be able to notice it in game)
TF 100 is horrendous.

Re: Upgrading from S2716DG to XL2546 (original/K/S)

A S27 to a XL2546S isn't an upgrade.

If you want an upgrade, try an XL2746S or XL2546K.

Re: Keep the BENQ XL2746S or return and the buy Alienware AW2521

I would keep the Benq.
I'm still wavering on and off about buying the XL2746S, but I'm trying to be patient for the new 60hz Single Strobe monitors first.

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S & XL2546S (*DISCONTINUED*) Owners Thread

The single strobe cutoff point is between 75hz and 96hz. I am not sure where, since I don't own this monitor yet (it's just too expensive). On the Benq XL2720Z, it was exactly 96hz (via custom refresh rates) where it started double strobing if "Single Strobe" was set to disabled in the service menu...

Re: Game with 75FPS in XL2411z(144hz)

There was something weird with using a VT tweak at 75hz. Or maybe it was 76hz. I don't remember anymore. Masterotaku was the one who found that out.

What driver are you using? Latest Nvidia drivers have been reported to have massive stuttering in Apex Legends.

Re: Strobe Utility 2.0 BETA Download!

Using a vertical total (VT) Tweak forces 60hz pulse widths for all refresh rates (100hz, 120hz, etc), = 0.167ms per point, rather than the native pulse width (refresh period /100) This used to be true for early BenQ XL2720Z firmwares, but this actually ceased to be true -- it now keys on intervals ...
