Re: ViewSonic Now Shipping XG2431 as of NOW!!! [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS]

I got this monitor finally and while I do like it, I am finding myself not liking it being so small I think. I purchased a 27" dell 165hz monitor to test 1440p gaming as well and have been going back to back with this viewsonic. I have to say, I kind of like the size and clarity of the images gamin...

Re: xl2546k and 2540k panel

Probably correct. Looks like the back of the monitor plating compressing on the polarizer over time. If that's from them being stored improperly face down (they're supposed to be face up), that could explain a lot. Chief? Do you remember this? I think this was first mentioned many years ago, perhaps...

Re: BenQ 2720z at 60HZ

60hz: Open the service menu and disable "Single Strobe". This will change all refresh rates 60hz-85hz to strobe twice every refresh (Double strobe). warning: This will create a double image effect.

100hz+ will always single strobe.

Re: How save change on factory menu xl2546

Impossible.
The only thing that saves are the I2C and the scaler bank commands and you do not want to mess with those (change one and black screen and you need to actually unplug the monitor to restore it).

Re: XL2546K owner needing an upgrade.

Usually it's holding down button 4 while pressing the power button then pressing the button by itself later. How did you get into the factory menu? You held two buttons down, right? That same colored factory menu is on my old XL2720Z (with like one less setting shown in there), and the same combinat...

Re: XL2546K owner needing an upgrade.

I don't use the nvcp for anything. What happens if you set it in windows display properties (right click on the desktop). Those are the correct timings. Also that picture is from the factory menu (or "burn-in menu"), not the service menu. The service menu has stuff like HDMI HPD, area, intensity, in...

Re: XL2546 doesnt look clear and sharp while moving, grid looking

I don't believe that these are inversion artifacts. I've seen these myself. They are not present if both DyAc and Gsync (Freesync) are disabled They only seem to appear if either DyAc is enabled or if Freesync is enabled. Freesync sometimes shows them worse on certain objects. I could be wrong about...
