Re: G-Sync causing Battlefield 4 crashes
I've had my RoG Swift since US launch and BF4 played great for about a week. I stopped played for the next week and decided to fire it up again yesterday. I'm using a 4670k, 16GB, and a GTX 780 SC, and it started crashing last night while playing. Within an hour I crashed about 4 times and in other ...

Re: 2 easy ways to LIMIT the FRAMERATE in games
Is there a way to keep it on BF4? Prior to getting my ROG Swift I capped it @ 60 fps since my monitors refresh rate was 60Hz. The way I was taught to do it was disable V-Sync in the game and create a user.cfg file with notepad and add a gametime.maxfps 60 or something along those lines. Don't rememb...

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)
I just re read Asus dead pixel on arrival and it seems as I read it to only apply to 0 if the pixels are bright ie stuck and not dead and dark like mine. In my case it seems to only apply if the unit has more than 5 dead pixels which mine does not. Unless I'm reading the policy incorrectly in which...

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)
mine came with 3 dead pixels How on earth does that happen in 2014? Last time I saw a monitor with dead pixels was in the early days of TFT monitors. Also, the return policy is usually 0-pixels on arrival. Meaning that "5 pixels" refers to the monitor developing dead pixels later on, not on arrival...

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)
Just got my shipping confirmation from NewEgg, should be here on the 28th. !
Amazing how an $800 monitor sold so quickly! I wonder how many of those are folks looking to resell @ a higher price .
Will let you know how it goes when I get mine.

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)
Newegg's page just added the auto-notify button this afternoon, so that's promising. If it goes on sale tomorrow, and I catch it, I really want to buy this monitor. I really wish I were a little more confident that it would work correctly with my hardware. The Battlefield thread, complete with the ...
