Ok, found a way to get rid of that huge annoyance (just read the reviews on Amazon... I'm not alone!)
Was not easy to find :roll: (and no mention of that in the manual)

So,
- go to the monitor Menu (3rd button from the right),
- then System,
- then HDMI Auto Switch -> It's "No", toggle it to ...

But actually (on Linux) I'm doing ctrl-alt-L to lock the screen when I'm about to leave my desk (my "screen saver" is at 0, i.e. never activated...), and the HDMI signal is cut right away. Not sure there is an easy way to delay the HDMI cut after Lock has been performed ...

Each time the Benq PD2700U goes to sleep, it displayed a "HDMI no signal" message on a dazzling Blue background for 2 seconds, that will achieve to blind me and the neighbors if I don't do something.

Is there a way to either change that bg color (to black!), or, if not possible, to just remove that ...

happy so far with my new Benq PD2700U.

However the "Brightness intelligence" setting is grayed out (sRGB). It seems to work only for some Picture modes, but I can't find anywhere in the manual what are the PM for which BI is enable-able.
Does somebody have more information about how to ...
