Re: HP Omen X 25f vs Samsung Odyssey G7
Nice! I'm about 3' away from my HP Omen.. would the 27" be too small since it's curved? I have it further back maybe about 2-3 feet back. Sometimes closer and the curve doesn't bother me at all while gaming. Even browsing. Haven't noticed distortion or anything but the curve is user preference. I g...

Re: HP Omen X 25f vs Samsung Odyssey G7
G7 here and vg259qm as well. I also had the xg249q 240hz TN panel a while back. G7 has TN like response times. Now throw in good colors that pop, high contrast 1440p HDR 600. The monitor is really good. The 32 inch seems to have flickering but I don't have any issues on the 27 inch.

Re: ASUS TUF VG27AQ - Severe Crosstalk
VG259QM handled this better and it's the reason I don't use the VG27AQ. It sucks at motion unless frames are high. Running the g7 odyssey 27 inch which is just all around a great monitor and has TN like speed. The VG259QM has a place for fast paced games or if I want to try hard lol.

Re: upgrade from Acer XB270HU to Samsung LC27G75 worth it?
Glad you like it. I don't really notice too much blb. Hopefully I got a perfect monitor but don't want to jinx it. The HDR even looks good. Still don't know if I have the right settings but it looks much better than the VG27AQ HDR. Like you I'm waiting for the RTX 3080 if the price is reasonable. Mi...

Re: upgrade from Acer XB270HU to Samsung LC27G75 worth it?
So I just got the panel and I can say it's absolutely worth the upgrade. I don't have the card to push the frames but it looks ten times better than my VG27AQ at lower frames. 240hz using the blur busters ghosting test and it's pretty close to ULMB without the flickering which causes headaches or fa...

Re: upgrade from Acer XB270HU to Samsung LC27G75 worth it?
Nothing too competitive. Me monkey brain like 165hz. Monkey brain really want 240hz. Looking for fluidity/picture quality above all else, gaming performance should be adequate Looking at some user reviews and hardware unboxed the response times do even better than some TN panels and 240hz ips panel...

Re: What settings for Asus VG259QM 240hz vs 160~fps
VG259QM owners, try Racing Mode RGB to 96-95-100, this is giving me good results in terms of color accuracy. I'm still looking for an icm profile tho.. FPS mode and RTS mode are good to watch Anime or play games but the color deviation is imo way too much. I will try it tomorrow ty. What's ur other...

Re: On what do I put overdrive?
OD 40 for 180fps or lower OD 80 for 200+ FPS. Depends on how much fps you are getting while gaming. Try OD 60 also for lower frames.

Re: ELMB Sync - Question ASUS TUF VG259QM
Yes but I disabled it and dont remember what is normally is on, do you know on how much Overdrive is when ELMB Sync is off? OD60 is on by default when you reset the monitor however OD80 is better for 280hz I only play 240hz, so do I keep it on 60? Or 0? I dont see any difference, im just using GSyn...
