Re: Dell AW2721D semi glossy coating?
It's a light coating. If you sit with the sun shinning behind you, it will cause glare problems. At night, it looks great and has no glare issues. It does make the overall image look clearer than the standard gaming monitor, but is less anti-glare. Have you owned the viewsonic XG 2703-gs? How would...

Re: Alienware AW2721D
Hows the anti glare coating? Ive read its semi glossy, but im not sure about what that means in terms of image clarity. Is it more like a matte? Or more like a glossy?

Dell AW2721D semi glossy coating?
For anyone that owns this, how is the anti glare coating on it? Blurry? Better than matte? More like a matte or more like a glossy? I am very sensitive to any blurring on screen and would like as light a coating as possible. I currently use a viewsonic XG 2703-gs as the coating is extremely light. I...

Re: Asus Tuf VG27BQ
My thoughts on this monitor. FYI for kandor. ASUS might have a firmware update you can RMA for if you ask them about it. They claimed to me that the engineers "improved" the crosstalk in a new firmware, but didn't tell me for what build of the monitor. My build was october 2019, and i was set to sen...

Re: Combating freesyncs varying FPS pixel response
It's because overdrive is tuned to a specific refresh duration. As framerate modulates (frametimes changes), the time between refreshes (refresh times) varies. What is perfect overdrive for a specific Hz becomes wrong overdrive for a different Hz. Part of the NVIDIA G-SYNC premium for G-SYNC native...

Combating freesyncs varying FPS pixel response
I currently own a TUF gaming VG27BQ and i have found that varying frame rates with adaptive sync on leads to noticeable changes in pixel response (which, in part, leads to eye strain for me). Specifically in the UFO tests. Where as trace free 60 is said to work for many asus monitors, i find 20 work...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
B07VL5SNG8 Some quick info on specs. http://www.viewsonicglobal.com/public/products_download/user_guide/Display/XG270/XG270_UG_ENG.pdf?pass They dont really go into the PUREXP in the instruction manual. Just simple adjustments. What does light to ultra mean? How does translate into strobing? Is it ...
