Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Guys, how are you?
I have this monitor, but mine came with that flickering problem. As I bought it used, I ended up keeping it anyway. I used it with a custom resolution at 390hz and with manual settings, so it completely stopped flickering. However, I needed to format my PC, and when trying to ...

Re: [HOWTO!] 360hz in a 250FPS locked game
Guys, I have a similar question.
I have the Acer 390hz, but I have been playing more EA FC 24 (Fifa 2024) and I limit the fps in the game to 120, as the game is poorly optimized at high fps rates, so I stay at 390hz / 120fps. I don't experience any screen tearing or stuttering this way. Would there ...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Guys, how are you?
I have this monitor and use it at 360hz. Currently I've been playing EA FC 24 (Fifa 24) more and I usually leave the fps locked in the game at 120fps/360hz. I don't get any screen tearing or stuttering with these settings. My question would be, would I still have any benefit in ...

Re: 360hz in a 250FPS locked game
can someone here post good VT values for 240hz on the XL2566K please? I understand that on 240hz u can make like 85-90% of the screen ghosting-free, and that the 66k's panel is in fact much better at 240hz than older 240hz benq screens like 2540 and even 2546k
For XL2566K with Quake Live, if ...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
VRR on or off? Pros and cons of both?
I have tried VRR for the first time for the past few days and am unsure if i play better or worse with it.
I play Fortnite and cap my frames at 387 on 390hz.
I can’t consistently hold 387 but my frames usually vary between 250-387.
I imagine VRR uses more ...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
What do you prefer? Increase the digital vibrance in NVCP or leave it at 50% and increase the color saturation in the monitor's OSD? Why?

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
I was wondering if overdrive is better set to normal or extreme for 360hz? I know that normal is recommended for 390hz but what about 360hz? is extreme better? has anyone done any testing with the overdrive settings for 360hz?
Hello,
I usually used "Extreme" because I thought higher = better ...

Re: Why are there no other 360hz TN panels?
I also took some pictures of the frame skipping test, some come out perfectly, but others come out with some "cropped" frames? Would that be a problem? What can this be?

Re: Why are there no other 360hz TN panels?
How can trailing get in the way of a competitive game in the real world? I can see trailing in UFO test depending on the speed, but I don't notice it in game. Would it "turn" into motion blur?
Personally I just struggle to recognize fine details during a teamfight.
Dark transitions ...
