I tested two cases with the same monitor. My monitor's native res is FHD (1080p). Case A: desktop resolution set to 1024*768, game resolution set to 1024*768 Case B: desktop resolution set to native (1080p), game resolution set to 1024*768 I thought the two would look the same, but in reality Case B...

Just read the post about XL2720Z being the best gaming monitor combined with V2 firmware and lightboost, and i'm now very tempted to buying one.
