Re: AW2721D - CRU doesn't show 240Hz

Why do you need to do this? Mine works just fine in 240Hz using Nvidia's control panel, or in Windows settings.

Re: Fastest Gaming Monitor

Sorry about that Topic creator, i didn't answer your question correctly. If you want little to no input lag, the 240hz Acer 240hz 27" monitors (xb273x/xv273x) have the lowest input lag that i've ever measured. (especially the acer predator xb273x). Even the 240hz acer nitro(the slowest 240hz IPS mo...

Re: Razer Viper 8k Stuck at 4k

The Corsair version works great. I haven't had any issues at all and it is VERY responsive at 8K. Have you reached out to Razer? It sounds like an issue that Razer should be fixing.

Re: TN vs IPS, I feel confused

At this point the benefits of TN over IPS are so small that there is no reason to go with TN over a fast IPS. To help pick a new monitor, I highly suggest looking at reviews on this site: https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/

Re: Dell AW2721D semi glossy coating?

It's a light coating. If you sit with the sun shinning behind you, it will cause glare problems. At night, it looks great and has no glare issues. It does make the overall image look clearer than the standard gaming monitor, but is less anti-glare.

Re: Alienware AW2721D

I would recommend getting an 8,000Hz mouse as well. I got the Corsair Sabre RGB Pro (because I will never buy any Razer products) and you really can feel a difference. The monitor already has VERY low lag, but the 8,000Hz mouse makes it even more responsive.

Re: Alienware AW2721D

Bit of a bump.. I'm considering replacing my xl2730 1440p 144hz monitor with the AW2721d. I'm a tad concerned though as a few years ago I grabbed the pg279q and found that I struggled to use it in some fast paced games as well as counter strike, etc. I understand IPS has come quite a bit since then...

Re: Alienware AW2721D

I'd say anyone that is going to buy this monitor for 10 bit at 144hz should just buy a 4K 144Hz monitor that supports 10 bit. There is no point in buying a 240Hz monitor at this resolution and price to set it to 144Hz. You might as well buy a 4K 144Hz monitor for the same price.

Re: Alienware AW2721D

Can someone explain to me why I get 12 bit on 144hz mode when everywhere it is advertised at 10 bit? Should I use it? Or may it's better to go 10 bit at 200hz using CRU like someone listed on page 2? Because lack of DSC support I suppose, cant do 240Hz 10bit nor 4K 120Hz on PS5.. No, I know that, m...

Re: Alienware AW2721D

Is this monitor worth buying, or would a 1440p 165hz be better for the price? Yes ofcourse, I used a 60, 75, 144 and 165Hz monitors, even the newer ones. They don't come close to how 240Hz 2K feels, it's just sharp and smooth and faster with low input lag, there's noticeable jitters/microstutters w...
