Why people buy LCD curved monitors ?

These monitors are only curved in horizontal axi , vertical axi is flat, this cause a geometric distortion , with spike deformation at corners, even seeing it from the recommended position and distance  Also, due to concave effect, see it at different angles cause ugly geometric distortion. T...

Re: Smoothness

1. For VRR, G-SYNC, and FreeSync cap 3fps below max Hz. www.blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101 This can decrease lag because of pick-poison effect fps=Hz. Capping keeps you away from max-Hz (where VSYNC ON lag suddenly starts to occurs, or if using VSYNC OFF, then tearing suddenly occurs at framerates ...

Re: Monitors Native Asynchronous Frequency's Plague

With CRU LCD native timings FHD@253Hz cap exact 250 Hz, the micro-stuttering due to polling-frametime sync solved, 4:1 ratio entire divisor. Also PixelClock 626.18 MHz is multiple of 1000Hz polling, if this can help in some way. Compare this config Vs default 240Hz, and say if you note difference. U...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

Place the crosshairs on your favourite pixel. :D Optionally, can be added a black edge to crosshair color ? the objective would be that it can be seen with both light and dark background. Apart, there are some unanswered questions about XG270 on this topic, clear those doubts would be appreciated, ...

Discussion about Phosphor Fade Simulation / Rolling-Scan Software BFI

We'd need 1000 Hz LCDs to more accurately emulate phosphor decay -- since phosphor decay can't be emulated accurately at 16.7ms granularity at 60Hz (stepped fade effect with LCD-like ghosting effects). Phosphor decay ideally needs to be emulated at millisecond, even sub-millisecond granularity. One...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

If during a firmware update, unfortunately occurs a power cut, there are any solution user can do, like modern motherboards ? Or RMA and Viewsonic fix ? Anyway, i recommend use UPS for firmware updates. Besides PureXP+ levels, there are any other change ? Rtings.com is also waiting the new firmware ...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

Be aware the XG270 is also losing brightness when enabling its blur reduction mode at its current state, while not exactly as bright as the FW900 in blur reduction mode (FW900 is a CRT monitor) I asked in this topic the Chief to say the brightness levels with fullscreen white with OSD max. brightne...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

Because I play game with fps fall to 60, even with 1080ti and 1080p, so I dont know if this is function and monito...
