Re: How Is OLED Technology Considered "Good"?
Just want to say the "soap opera effect" is a fake issue. More framerate is always better. I find my lg oled to be very good at reducing 24p stutter and a tousand times better to watch anything on it than on LCD, which these days are all too fast to hide the 24hz of movies anyway. OLED being "too fa...

Looks like you CAN force vsync on in the drivers after all with DLSS3! But according to DF, there's some issues depending on games.

Re: NVIDIA introduces DLSS3, interpolates frames, but is not v-sync compatible.
Geez, I didn't expect the DF hate here of all places.
Anyway, how about doing something about this vsync issue? There's an alternative way to force vsync: by using RTSS's scanline sync. It works at 60fps already, but not at 120. Would great if they could fix that somehow without as much a CPU cost.

Re: LG OLED CX 120Hz BFI
I just want to say I received my C1 and 8ms persistence in 60hz BFI doesn't look nearly as bad as it sounds, outside of extremely fast motion there's still no perceptible blur and considering how bright it is I think LG did good on increasing the pulse length for the C1 over the CX I'm extremely hap...

Re: LG OLED CX 120Hz BFI
Guys, the LG C2 seemingly no longer allows 120hz BFI, this really sucks. It's strange how they still keep 60hz BFI, only 120hz is gone. I hope that's just reviewers getting an early firmware, but I'm already looking at Sony for an alternative. I've been waiting for an OLED that's 42" for so long, wi...

Re: ViewSonic Now Shipping XG2431 as of NOW!!! [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS]
yeah, after reading like 1000 forum post and reviews, UFO tests videos etc.. I'm just going to put an LG 48 CX OLED on my desk. lol Yep I have the same feeling. 48" is simply way too big for me so I'm waiting for the 42" model, but yeah.. Been lurking this thread and I really appreciate chiefs' eff...

Re: ASUS PG259QN hack for single-strobe ULMB 50 Hz and ULMB 60 Hz
While it's great that workarounds like these still work, that's a 670€ monitor, just to play 60fps games like we used to on CRT or my 10 year old professional NEC VA monitor that's dying (and the resolution is still lower! And I'm sure the asus is less bright!) The worst part is that I was about to ...

Re: Blur Busters Approved roadmap ?
I think monitors that don't allow 60hz strobing should not get the certification.

I have the same monitor and anything over 144hz just isn't smooth, can you please share how you did it??
