Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
I would like to setup a similar QFT custom resolution at 119Hz to yours at 120Hz, but I can't wrap my head around why CRU won't accept the timings when trying to create a resolution for 120Hz (for practice). How would I calculate the timings for 119Hz? What do I do with Blanking and Back Porch ...

I will add that RTSS Scanline Sync is very hard to configure. Even if the game runs smooth without stutter, I worry that it isn't properly configured. It's not very easy to set up with TF2, although that and most games feel pretty responsive with the low lag VSync trick.

Re: Looking for THE lowest Motion Blur
I bet that new 360Hz monitor will have pretty good strobing at 240Hz.

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
changing the VT at 119hz does make the "Normal" PureXP mode usable in the day time, its great.
With 75hz I think its usable at "Extreme" which can be dim in the day but at night its fine.
For me, I use Extreme during the day and Ultra at night. I don't like my monitor too bright. xD

Re: Looking to get a new monitor
Hello.
I've been interested in motion blur reduction for a few years now.
Last year I wanted to get a strobing monitor but realized that it's a complicated matter epecially when you're on a low budget.
Not just because the monitor is expensive, but because it comes with requirements of fps ...

I'm glad you guys like the custom resolutions! I'm really happy with them myself, but there isn't enough bandwidth for 10-bit colour. Will I notice this in games, or is it only for creative applications?

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
Best blur reduction mode for me is 119hz with PureXP on Extreme setting. With 119hz strobed i can really track the moving window with text and actually read it in the same time. NO other mode allows that, i tried 240 unstrobed, 224 strobed and so on, 120hz strobed doesnt work as well, its even ...

Re: My ViewSonic XG270 + PureXP™ Tweaks (ICC Download) [Advanced Users]
Hi, how would I go about making the DisplayID resolution active? It's not possible to do the 1080 front porch trick without creating a detailed resolution under DisplayID, but I'm not sure what to do next. How do I use it? Also, is the colour supposed to be 6 or 8 bit after doing these tricks ...
