XG270 vs XG2431
Are there any differences in the technology with these? Just curious because I was looking to downsize because 27 inches is just too much for me for fps games. The best I got the 270 to look was with the 119hz strobe custom setting. Can the new one get a glass look at a higher hz?

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
I was amazed by software bfi with my tn even with the werid inversion artifacts. What i don't like is the blackframes are often mistimed and you get random flickers. Is it possible to get lcd BFI done on a display level? combined with 120hz strobe backlight. there's way way more games that can bene...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
Wow. Now this is something that's actually beyond me. Basically we are stuck in few color profiles if we wanna use the fastest mode. I never had this on any monitor I used. That is ofc if we do not lower the timings in CRU ourselves. I am not sure why they don't grey out the option if its a known l...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
Guys I have some bad news, I've just spoken to Viewsonic support about the Full color control issue. After sending their technicians a video of the issue, they have simply confirmed me that this is a known limitation of this model and that the two modes should not be used together. Wow. Now this is...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
After it has been found that Native timings in CRU fix the issue, it was kindof shrug off as an acceptable solution, if you ask me this isn't acceptable solution, the monitor is being shipped with a buggy feature out of the box - its 500€ monitor and you need to hack the driver to actually use a ba...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
I posted about this issue numerous times and seems it got ignored... It really should be fixed. Some of us found the solution is actually in reducing timings. Once you make a CRU resolution with LCD Native instead of Standard timings, the full color control doesn't break anymore, seems the issue is...

Re: >>> VOTE!!!! Ideas To Help Blur Busters!
I'd love to use your link to buy the viewsonic to try out but I'm already stuck with this asus one because corona hit right after I purchased it and everything else was completely out of stock. I couldn't even return it because there was nothing else to buy haha. If you wish -- you can use this lin...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
There was tuning targeted towards standard refresh rates, with the strobe tuning rounding-down to nearest tuned Hz, as no tuned refresh rates were done between 100Hz and 120Hz. 119Hz probably activates the same strobe-tuning as the tuning done for 100Hz. So any Hz between 100Hz-119Hz activates the ...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
Hey guys, I'm using this monitor now for a couple of weeks and i like PureXP and the normal mode equally. Both have their strenghts and weaknesses. What bugs me is the added input lag with PureXP ON + Vsync ON @ 120 Hz and FPS limited to 120 with RTSS. I tried to turn Vsync OFF and limit the fps ag...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
Issue I have with increasing DPI and cutting ingame is that a lot of games still use mouse DPI for menus and character screens so while the game feels the same as soon as you bring up anything your mouse becomes really difficult to control. A notorious example of this is PUBG when you hit tab to lo...
