Re: Stuttering with the BenQ Zowie XL2566K / Not smooth.

Zowie can provide this with a huge leap with its extreme contrast, color, black equaliser and Dyac settings. Use TGTLN's settings to so. He really nailed it in his yt video. I just bought the xl2546k. I got lucky and managed to haggle one to even cheaper than the s version. I only tested it for abo...

Re: Stuttering with the BenQ Zowie XL2566K / Not smooth.

In addition. If I have to choose between the 3 monitors you mentioned I would definitely choose the XL2546S cause it has the fastest panel by far. Plus it has the best color settings and black equaliser for PUBG. Yes def that one. Edit I see it even has dyac. EDIT 2: The XL2546S is exactly the same...

Re: Stuttering with the BenQ Zowie XL2566K / Not smooth.

Why not get the XL2546K? Most pros use that one. Dyac does net get disabled entirely when u dont hit the 240fps mark and even if it does you can make a custom res for like 180fps? 70% of why Zowie is nice for Pubg is its Dyac functionality. The other 30% are the special colors and black equaliser s...

Re: Stuttering with the BenQ Zowie XL2566K / Not smooth.

The 46K was so smooth but this 66K...not that smooth. I prefer to use DSC than go for AMD GPUs, it's my personal choice. A little bit off topic but which of these monitors do you recommend more? XL2540k, MAG251RX or xl2546s? I currently have aw2518hf and I want to ugprade it. I don't like how shit ...

Re: Aw2524h 500hz in stock on Dells website

How did you deduct that it's not that good? There's a single review that isn't technical; not from a gamer; they say they can't see a difference between the two, not that it's worse than the benq. Nothing from that implies that it's not good or worse than the benq. Wait for proper reviews before jum...

Re: [FIX] Alienware AW2518HF frameskipping/ghosting fix (and possibly all the other AW2XXX series such as the AW2521)

Is this better than the exact reduced fix?

BTW how did you know these exact numbers are the correct ones when manual doesn't allow for 121 front porch? Can I somehow brick my monitor with this?

Re: What high DPIs are recommended? i'm sooo confused

I've seen videos like Battle(non)sense and Optimum Tech that prove and confirm the benefit of having a high DPI mouse because it reduces latency a bit. No one has objectively proved that high DPI is better in terms of latency as both battlenonsense and optimum tech didn't do DPI equalized tests and...

Re: Turbo Smooth FPS Gameplay in Apex Legends?

Matching the hz to the 180fps has pros and cons. You'll get slightly better clarity because of no tearing but you'd also get worse input lag which he seems to care about because that's one of the things he wants in a monitor upgrade. Personally at that high fps and refresh rate I don't have an issue...

Re: Gamma Corrected Pixel Response is a LIE

It takes you 10 minutes to run the race, but your 10-90 time would be 8 minutes, losing 10% at the beginning (1 minute) and then 10% at the end (1 minute) for a total of 2 minutes taken away. Why are you assuming that the pace is identical throughout the entire race? That's the entire point of the ...

Re: Changing from 240hz to 144hz

Change your refresh rate to 144hz on your g7 and see for yourself. No one here can tell you if you personally will feel the difference or not. Just test it. I have been thinking of downgrading from 240 to 144 but it's only because I don't hit such high frames and because I can get a 144 for more tha...
