My optimal FreeSync configuration with Radeon cards
DISCLAIMER: These settings are based on my usage and testing and are meant to work reliably and universally, following the recommendations from the G-SYNC 101 article by jorimt. I always play with a frame rate limiter (normally set to 60 or 120 fps) because I prefer stable frame pacing with minimal...

Re: BenQ MOBIUZ EX2510 - any experience?
Got the BenQ EX2510 some days ago and I've been testing it. I don't have any serious complaint with image quality or ghosting. I can see inversion artifacts if I move the camera at a certain speed but it's very subtle and I haven't seen any 1080p monitor that doesn't suffer from this. I think its si...

Re: Questioning my Monitor Choice
If you're playing graphically demanding games at low frame rates or you're going to use the monitor with a console, I would return it and get another model (beware, all 1440p IPS 144+Hz monitors have issues). Here’s the thing I purchased 3070, shouldn’t it perform higher than that? Still bummed out...

Re: Properly set 30 FPS with good frametime - what about Vsync?
With 1/2 vsync this cannot happen, as the GPU will force the frame to wait for the correct 16.7ms mark (there's two of them.) Okey, I understand. But what is the difference between normal Vsync and 1/2 Vsync in situation where framerate is capped? I thought that even with normal Vsync (and with 30F...

Re: Properly set 30 FPS with good frametime - what about Vsync?
Wouldn't the half refresh RTSS cap + VSYNC still cause stuttering and fluctuating input lag, since the cap isn't in sync with the display and there would be an "imaginary jumping tearline"? You could also use half refresh rate VSYNC like OP said, or 1/2 scanline sync, but their effectiveness vary de...

Both the Dell and the LG use the exact same panel, it's just the LG is clamped to sRGB by default.

Re: Monitors confusion and potentially a wrong choice?
Well, it's a wide color gamut monitor and Hardware Unboxed mentions its sRGB mode is not good. I guess if you don't care about color oversaturation, it's a fine option.

Re: Monitors confusion and potentially a wrong choice?
Mainly what I stated about the sRGB mode locking the overdrive. I mostly play graphically demanding single player games and the overshoot is very noticeable at low refresh rates. Also its stand is quite bad and there is some backlight bleed. If you like the ASUS I think you should keep it, but you w...

Re: Monitors confusion and potentially a wrong choice?
No, sadly no 1440p IPS 144+Hz monitor is perfect and all of them exhibit issues, it's a matter of deciding which ones you are willing to accept.
Personally, I tried the LG 27GL850 and the ACER XV272UP and I'm going to return both.
