It is in compare to crt, plasma and oled (oled is said to have 1,000,000:1, crt-plasma ~25000:1). Best lcd with contrast is va, eizo foris va has almost 5000:1..

Yes it seems an interesting technology. It would be also nice if it could be used with for example 140-144hz refresh rate or more.

All those monitors has terrible contrast ratio and this is one reason from many more why we need badly a better technology (like oled or something else).

If it really were good (didn't make headaches looking on screen for example) I would buy monitor 4 (or even any other) but honestly it looks like pure fantasy. But I hope producers will move finally from lcd to something that will have all advantages of crt because those advantages are much more imp...

Hey I though this monitor was 6bit + 2bit by dithering similiar to plasmas or tn? (Btw I rather don't like dithering on last panasonic plasmas). Is Display Port changing anything?

Just terrible, for how much longer there won't be a real substitute for crt? It is so many year already and I would love good oled monitor.

This monitor unfortunately has dithering (only 6bit) too unlike ips. I don't know how it looks on this one but on a newer plasmas it also adds much to flickering and might mess dark shades effect despite good black but someone who had it should tell. I hope soon there will be even better va monitors...

Isn't low-profile keyboard better than mechanical for games? Like Logitech Ultra-Flat, the only problem such keyboard is not anymore produced and clones aren't that good.
