Re: Tell me If I need to buy new monitor.
From the two pictures in game, it looks like you have the in game resolution scale really low resulting in a pixelated screen. Could you perhaps include a screenshot of YOUR in game settings?

Re: Are moving objects in games more clear at 120hz strobed than 240hz non-strobed?
If there was/is a 240hz strobed monitor with no strobe crosstalk will it be less blurrier than 120hz strobed or would it just have less input lag because the 120hz strobed picture looks pretty perfect to me. Also, how much input delay is added when using a strobed backlight say at 120hz compared to ...

Are moving objects in games more clear at 120hz strobed than 240hz non-strobed?
I have never used a monitor with motion blur reduction so I was looking through https://blurbusters.com/faq/motion-blur-reduction/ and the 120 Hz With Blur Reduction pursuit camera picture looks perfect. I know that not every panel with motion blur reduction can achieve this sort of clarity/invisibl...

Re: are there 240hz monitors that perform at 144fps same as 240?
You still have issues with overdrive with VRR OFF, it's just a fixed amount of artifact rather than a varying amount of artifact. You still have to adjust (tune) your overdive to your user preference. So the artifacts like overshoot will be of the same amount at any fps on fixed 240hz no variable r...

Re: Why I'm done with 240hz
i can get 240fps easily steady with 5820K and 1070 8 GB if i uncap frame rate in overwatch. does that mean ill get 240 stable on an actual 240hz monitor? If you get steady 240 fps now then you will get steady 240 fps on any other monitor, monitors don't change how much fps you can get unless you ge...

Re: are there 240hz monitors that perform at 144fps same as 240?
Perfect overdrive setting for 100fps may produce ghosting at 200fps Perfect overdrive setting for 200fps may produce coronas at 100fps So you tune your overdrive menu setting towards the common frame rate you plan to use. So native g-sync's variable overdrive is the only way you can achieve a ghost...

Re: are there 240hz monitors that perform at 144fps same as 240?
So if I am not sensitive to these artifacts then should I not worry about getting a native gsync panel. Also what about if no sort of variable refresh rate technology is used, then will the artifacts at lower frame rates be more noticable compared to a g-sync compatible panel?

Re: are there 240hz monitors that perform at 144fps same as 240?
So if you play on a 240hz monitor without using native gsync, there is no way to get a corona-less/ghosting-less experience at framerates under 240?

Re: are there 240hz monitors that perform at 144fps same as 240?
I have never used a monitor with a strobed backlight/motion blur reduction mode. When you activate this, can you set the strobing to be at any refresh rate or does the monitor only let you select certain refresh rates to be strobed at? If so, what are the most common refresh rates.
