G-sync not working in league of legends

My monitor has a refresh rate counter and in any other game I can see the refresh rate matching to the fps in game however in League of Legends it stays at the monitor's refresh rate. I was wondering if there was a way to force gsync on in certain applications. I used to do this in the amd control p...

Why do you value motion clarity over input lag? It sounds like you are mainly looking for the panel with the best possible motion clarity which I see as just a bonus for competitive gaming in my opinion compared to input lag which I feel like will be more advantageous over other players of the same...

Re: GPU max buffered frames

Sorry I am not familiar with this at all. Is there an optimal setting to set this at for adaptive sync? You've never hear of Nvidia "Low Latency Mode"/"Maximum pre-rendered frames" or AMD "Anti-Lag"? Anyway, it's not directly related to VRR, and really only takes effect when both your GPU is maxed ...

Re: GPU max buffered frames

When using in game vsync alongside gsync/freesync what should this setting be set at in games with this option? The options are off or 1 to 5. That setting is typically the in-game pre-rendered frames queue count control, similar to LLM/MPRF. Sorry I am not familiar with this at all. Is there an op...

Re: App or method for seeing ingame refresh rate?

You can use fraps if you freesync/gsync but apart from that I don't believe there is a program for that.

Re: G-sync gives me headache

Use the highest overdrive setting that gives you no noticable overshooting as that will give you the best visual experience, almost no monitors perform with no overshoot at the highest overdrive option

Re: Rocket League runs 144 fps but feels like 60fps

Bear in mind, sometimes VRR visually looks best (least stutters, smoothest motion) with an opposing setting: - Enable VSYNC ON in NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Catalyst Control Center - Enable VSYNC OFF in-game - Use an in-game frame rate cap (~2fps-3fps below Hz at 144Hz) Not sure if you are aware o...

Why is capping fps at a multiple of your refresh rate better than capping slightly above/lower?

I always heard that capping fps at a multiple of your refresh rate for example 60 or 120fps on 60hz is better (don't know what the reasons are) than say 80fps on 60hz. What are the reasons for this and what are the benefits of capping at a multiple of your refresh rate?

Re: FPS Higher than refresh rate = lag?

Try playing on 240hz with gsync on and vsync on in nvidia control panel preferrably (off in game) with a 237 fps cap and see if that feels better. This is the best setup for no screen tearing and minimal input lag.
