The XL2586X will be limited to around 400 Hz via Displayport right?
Because XL2586X has Displayport 1.4 and HDMI 2.1
According to the info here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DisplayPort
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI
.... The 8 bit limits are 406 Hz for DP 1.4 and 591 Hz for HDMI 2.1

TCP Optimizer from speedguide.net
https://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php https://www.speedguide.net/faq_in.php?category=100 I've heard a lot about this app over the years, but never tried it. Regarding competitive and low latency gaming, can any of its settings yield improvements? Most online shooters use UDP. This one is called T...

Re: 240 Hz refresh rate via Displayport 1.1a possible?
This will be a challenging to figure out but have you tested out things like older versions of ToastyX Pixel Clock patcher? Have you tested a lower resolution at 240Hz? I've tried to run low resolutions like 640 x 480 at 240 Hz, they give the same result, black screen/no image. Thanks for the reply...

240 Hz refresh rate via Displayport 1.1a possible?
I’m wondering if it’s possible to reach a 240 Hz refresh rate in any way while using Displayport 1.1a. Normally, 144 Hz is the upper limit for Displayport 1.1a. I use Windows XP for certain games. I have modern high-end PCs, but for select old online shooters, XP is still best. I use a Geforce 980 T...

BenQ ZOWIE XL2746K
I've been waiting for this monitor for more than a year, and I'm overly joyed that Zowie has made it, and not (yet) have phased out 27 inches, in favor of the more popular 24.5 inch format for competitive gaming. I just discovered this XL2746K news some minutes ago, and haven't researched it to dept...

Drauger OS - Low lag Windows Gaming on Linux
I come from a small but active and competitive community, that's based on a 20-year-old online First Person Shooter for Windows, that once was quite popular, but now is almost forgotten. There are currently around 1000 monthly active players. That game is all about getting the best hit registrations...

Re: NEW Benq Zowie Monitors Speculation/Info Thread (XL2546K-B, XL2546K, XL2411K)
Just found this old tweet: ZOWIE BenQ America (sept 7 2020): "We are working on something better than just 360hz but until we can be sure it is a relevant improvement to our 240hz/dyac for serious gaming, we won’t release a new model. So, no schedule as of right now for any related to 360hz." (I can...

Re: NEW Benq Zowie Monitors Speculation/Info Thread (XL2546K-B, XL2546K, XL2411K)
Does anybody know if Benq/Zowie is planning to release a gaming 360 hz monitor, maybe with a fast IPS panel, in the near future?
