Re: Switching from Nvidia to AMD again, same old AMD problem

As for AMD, I gave up on that brand a long time ago. They offer the best price vs perf ratio but their stuff is full of problems, annoying glitches, I dont have patience for that. It's like they concentrate too much on hardware, and not enough on drivers. All of nvidia stuff is driver based. Look a...

Re: The best way to get 30fps on PC ?

run in 60hz mode, alter the nvidia driver profile with nvidia inspector to run at half refresh vsync (not adaptive) from drivers, cap at 30 fps with RTSS as well to cut down on the 30hz input lag (you'll be capped at 30 fps even without the cap from RTSS, but it'll be REALLY laggy without the cap on...

Re: Freesync broken 2019 megathread

- Poorly optimized drivers. - Poorly optimized operating system. - Poorly optimized games. - Fluctuations in rendertimes. - Power management interference (amplifies the fluctuations in rendertimes) - All the above happening simultaneously. - Etc. All those inaccuracies build up. So button-to-gameti...

Re: AG251FZ - HAVE SOME BLUR

Switch overdrive to medium in the on screen display.

Also, looks like you are either running in 60hz mode, or you are in freesync mode and capped at low frame rate

Re: FreeSync Eliminating Overdrive Inverse Ghosting

So exactly what setting was this that you adjusted on the monitor?

My AG251FZ has insane inverse ghosting at frame rates lower than 80 fps, in freesync mode, unless the overdrive is turned down to medium, at which point there seems to be no inverse ghosting.

Re: Switching from Nvidia to AMD again, same old AMD problem

Just in case anyone in the future reads this, CRU is excellent, and can indeed force your highest refresh in everything. Without any problems, that I have encountered, such as games starting up with blank screen and a "no signal" from your monitors on screen display etc. Don't create a custom resolu...

Force highest refresh rate with AMD

So I changed to an AMD card. After all these years, you still can't force highest refresh from driver? What a joke. You can't even change refresh in AMD control panel. The custom resolution section won't even let me go past 200hz (it's a 240hz monitor). So I used toasty CRU. But when I created a 240...

Re: AG251FZ with freesync/G-sync

It only works with 1000 and 2000-series GPUs. 900 and 700 (like your 750 Ti) do not work since (according to NVidia) they don't have displayport 1.2a support. They only support 1.2. Ah right, that makes sense, 'cos 1.2a supported adaptive sync. Thanks. Don't really need any sync at 240hz, but would...

AG251FZ with freesync/G-sync

I read the news about nvidia offering VRR with their drivers https://www.blurbusters.com/nvidia-geforce-driver-417-71-today-any-freesync-monitor/ I use the AG251FZ with 750ti over display port 1.2 But I don't see any "Enable G-SYNC" option in nvidia control panel? Does this feature only work on the ...
