Re: LG 27" 1440p 240hz OLED Ultragear 27GR95QE
Because oled is self emitting hence if the actual pixel could go on and off fast enough it would need a 580hz panel to maintain 240hz like feeling. TN and IPS mbr have backlight that is decoupled from pixel refresh rate performance, hence they can have dyac and the like.. That’s how i understand it.

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
this guy on youtube has my problem but in a slightly different way, always with overclock on, in game I have no problems, but if I keep the game in the background and open google for example, google starts to see itself like this. The problem only occurs at 390hz, I have a VESA certified display po...

Re: Best router for gaming ?
- just get an Ubiquiti ER4 and activate smartqueue (fq codel)
- you can also find specific configuration to give your gaming traffic priority.

Re: WANTED: Software Developers: We need a Gaming VPN client with BUILT IN NETWORK LATENCY DE-JITTERING [BountySource]
as to avoid latency polling , you would need stratum synchronised endpoints ( preferably chrony based if millisec accuracy is needed) . next devise an encapsulation over your vpn that add a timestamp field in each packet. then have you local/server software queue packets until they are allowed to be...

Re: Nvidia display cloning feels bad
make sur your monitor is the clone source. (Display -> setup multiple displays )
right click on the 1 - 2 circle and set "clone source" to your monitor number not the capture card.
there is about 10ms difference if your capture card is the clone source instead of the monitor.

Re: Is it true Ryzen has higher input lag than Intel? Is there conclusive data to prove this?
Can anyone put it in laymen terms how much difference this makes? Going from 40 ns memory latency to 60, how much extra MS will that add in total input lag? If both CPU's have identical FPS ingame etc. while those 60ns to 40ns seems like nothing , a 5Ghz cpu each cycle last 0.2ns this means when RA...

Re: ASUS PG259QN ANNOUNCED! - 360Hz IPS 1ms GtG HDR Monitor with Hardware G-Sync and ULMB Strobing
IMHO this PG259QN has been rushed out : - no 360hz strobing - Panel response time doesn't look faster than current 240-280 IPS - most 240hz panel have better ufo test motion reduction from what we see. it is a rushed out monitor just to claim world first and They totally missed the target audience. ...

Re: Input lag and eSport. Every gamer should know this.
I didn't find any such mechanisms. Maybe you will have ideas how it can be made, or to order something to ask engineers to design it, but this is a long story. you can use a titan 2 from consoletuner, it as a multi hid output and can replay whatever hid you want. you can also do this with an arduin...
