It won't damage the monitor, but refresh rate overclocking, especially on older IPS panels, don't show much of a benefit. Thank you so much this clears up all the questions i had for overclocking. Currently Acer XB271hu is at native 144hz, should i leave it at overclock which is at 165hz, is there a downside to it? or should i just leave it at native 144hz?From tings review the response time isnt fast enough compared to PG279Q which is actually better for fps?
