Re: After what refresh rate did you stop feeling the improvement in smoothness?

360 Hz on XL2566K was already pretty smooth, but 540 Hz on PG248QP is even smoother, to my eyes. Experienced this on a game with >540 FPS. just out of curiosity , what games do u have >540FPS in ? and what are ur specs Medal of Honor Allied Assault (MoHAA). Dead game but competitive scene got reviv...

Slower versions, like the default 960, don't separate themselves visibly enough nor are they fast enough to represent a very fast paced game, like Overwatch.
Agreed 100%

Re: LG 27” 1440P 480Hz OLED CES 2024

480hz only... It's announced at CES this year. TFTcentral has a bunch of news articles. However, depending on the coating, I'd take the LG over the Asus even if it has BFI. Not sure why OLED was split into it's own forum as the announcements are all over the place now. Would be better if you could ...

Re: 2000Hz vs 4000Hz

Correct, I don't think 800 is enough. You can see for yourself by using mouse polling rate checker such as https://devicetests.com/mouse-rate-test . I don't play CS2 and I'm aware most pros using low DPI and I've heard there might be reasons not to go high DPI in that game, but I'd encourage still t...

Re: 2000Hz vs 4000Hz

What DPI are you using? If you use some mouse rate checker online, you'll probably notice that polling rate doesn't go very high even though you swipe the mouse quite fast (that was assuming your DPI was low). Now increase your DPI and decrease the windows mouse sensitivity to keep the same actual ...

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!

You'll still need the newest version of Windows 11 23H2 I would run it at 500 hz in W10, extra 40 Hz is not worth the disadvantages of W11 in my opinion. I wonder if Microsoft considers fixing it for W10 when these monitors get more popular. Any idea if the monitor offers a 500hz option or would we...
