Optimum tech is nowhere near an esports professional lol. Also from the video
"TN panels are still the way to go if you just want the fastest response times and least amount of motion blur possible, but just keep in mind that you are trading off quite a bit in return for that"

Re: Advice On New Monitor [Professional Color + 240Hz?]
Isn't quake 3 fps tied to movement somehow? My memory is a bit rusty but I vaguely recall that being the case. Still impressive anyway and I definitely should've included them.

Re: Advice On New Monitor [Professional Color + 240Hz?]
BTW, I never posted my computer specs. Figured it would help, as I have a question to outside of fortnite, and lets say on another tv/monitor, what would my computers max abilities be as far as max resolution at max fps.

Re: Acer Nitro XF252Q - Im so impressed with motion blur clarity.
I'm pretty sure it's only the G-Sync version. Super not worth it, also arguably worse in some aspects since it comes with ULMB which doesn't do 240hz strobing.

Re: New 1080p 240hz IPS monitors. LG 27gn750, MSI MAG251rx, Asus TUF vg279qm/vg259qm.
Does anybody know approximately how many nits the MAG251RX is with the strobing on? I currently use a VG248QE at around 20% brightness which according to this source (https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/asus-vg248qe/) is around 150 nits. If the MAG251RX is around that brightness with strobing on (or ...

Man if the XG270 was 24/25" it would be my perfect monitor, maybe I'll just wait for more blur busters approved 240hz ips panels later this year haha

Re: [Valorant FPS]- VG279QM vs XL2746s
i have the benq xl2546 tn panel.
when i turn on DYAC, it has a little input lag on csgo. Just feel that my shots do not register as well when i turn it off.
Sure: my point is just that if you did prioritize strobing over input lag and wanted a good strobing implementation, without the ...

Re: New 1080p 240hz IPS monitors. LG 27gn750, MSI MAG251rx, Asus TUF vg279qm/vg259qm.
IIRC on the vg279qm at least ELMB and ELMB-SYNC force on OD 80 which on below 240hz has a very noticeable amount of inverse-ghosting, which kind of sucks because that rules it out as something that can succeed my aging VG248QE lol. I just wanted a 240hz monitor doing 144hz strobing for the overhead ...

Re: [Valorant FPS]- VG279QM vs XL2746s
for actual gamers, who plays FPS seriously, we dont care about the scenery or if that enemy character is super sharp because even when i am playing on a 144hz compared to a 280hz, i still can frag easily. its about your own ingame skill.
