Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED Purchase Link (Dell Premier - US)

https://www.dell.com/premier/us/en/rc13 ... W3423DWSAP

This link popped up on the web, people are trying to sell it on reddit, lol.

Customers outside of the US would need to use a package forwarding service for now.

Trying to pick a 144Hz+ monitor at 200€ max

Hey there! I'm currently trying to find a nice 144Hz+ monitor for my secondary system at 200€ max. It will mostly run CSGO or other competitive titles so input lag/response times/motion clarity should be the main focus while retaining decent-ish image quality. A few 2021 IPS models I've found for th...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Hi guys. I bought a viper 8000, should I return it? The only game that works is overwatch. But I don't want to play only overwatch, I want to play other games. Yes, 8000Hz looks great, but it just doesn't work. I have a feeling that I was simply deceived. It will be years before any developer decid...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Try using TSC instead of HPET or ACPI PMT, i.e. bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock or bcdedit /set useplatformclock false. I have zero issues in all (many) games I've played including Apex Legends with 8kHz. Once I use HPET or ACPI PMT, I get the same stutters you describe. bcdedit /deletevalue ...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Well guess I'll be sticking to 1000Hz for now, as this doesn't seem to be working on any game, at least not well enough. Not gonna live with my FPS being cut in half in CS when i swipe fast.

ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus, for reference, if it's related to USB ports.

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

The Viper 8KHz has been quite a pain for me so far. I'm at 600 DPI, got a 3700X with a 1080 Ti and 32GB of 3000MHz RAM. It seems to work fine in CSGO at 8000Hz, however fast movements still cause my fps do drop from 400 down to 200, which is less noticeable, but still not worth the 8000Hz. Tabbing o...

Re: Help with new monitor. XL2546s, Acer XN253QX...

Hmmm, interesting. This complicates my decision. Don't know if I should continue to wait till the XL2546s is released, I'm in no rush btw but I do want a 240hz monitor soon. Might just get an Acer XN253QX for $500 new , or for $400 refurbished from Acer. Also the Omen X 25 in the US is fluctuating ...

Re: Help with new monitor. XL2546s, Acer XN253QX...

That's just me being sensitive to it, most people are fine. On the other hand, it causes slight additional input lag, so I wouldn't want that anyways. Really depends if the motion clarity increase is noticeable to you - kind of a trade off.

Re: In need of monitor advicec - AW, MSI, Suggestions

Those new IPS panels are really nice, they have better colors than your generic TN panel, however they're still not faster than the fastest TN panels. So if competitive advantage is your #1 priority, go for one of the top TN panels, as those will have the lowest response times/input lag, aswell as c...
