This port is only for updating the firmware. This is written in the manual.
Are you sure? I don't think Asus released any firmware..

Re: 05/22/2020 UPDATE. The IPS 240hz monitor tier list.(I've measured/tried the all) and my honest explanation why.

Guys, I watched the aw2521hf review https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/dell-alienware-aw2521hf/ And in the review, the author says that enabling VRR affects overdrive. How can it be, is it a feature of the panel? Does the asus vg259qm have the same? What about MSI? Has anyone checked with asus? https:...

Re: Still no performance review on VG259QM?

best setting: ELBM sync on + no VRR @240hz and thus we don't know which OD is on but it gives the best visual result so far (but acc. to reviews, on the 27" version, it is yet not a full 100% window) I absolutely agree on ELMB+ 240hz + VRR off. I think that the % inside the window at 240hz with OD8...

Re: Best 24'' 240Hz TN with lowest input lag AND best image quality?

I have VG259QM. I actually don't mind setting the OD to 60. I can't see any extra smearing because if it's running at 280Hz I get less actual motion blur. There's crosstalk on my panel at higher refresh rates when using ELMB sync, do I prefer reducing the refresh rate to 144Hz when using blacklight...

https://i.ibb.co/bWZyRJX/OVERALLRTINGS2.png Why is AW2521HFL higher than AW2521HF? It's must be same monitors, but HFL just have white color. Or am I wrong? Also why is AW2521HFL higher than vg259qm? I'd just watch this instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zyknndQjx8 VG259QM >> AW2521HF if not...

I can confirm that disabling SMT massively helps on a Zen 2 processor.

My mouse doesn't feel floaty anymore and everything else, even W10, feels way more snappy (I'm on 2004)

Re: Which hz/dpi setting is best for mice?

Also, you want sensor dpi headroom. Use a 12000dpi sensor and configure it to 3200dpi. 3200dpi (combined with lowered in-game sensitivity) is currently my preferred setting on modern sensors, during VRR & strobed operation. I switch back to 800dpi or 1600dpi when exiting to Windows, using a DPI-swi...

I don't know why but using Adaptive Sync with ELMB-Sync tends to "smear" the ufo, it should actually do the opposite since VT are automatically managed.
I replied to this in: Science: Why Strobe Crosstalk Varies during ELMB-SYNC.
That's a really good analysis of how ELMB works with VRR

Re: VG259QM help settings

I keep trying new settings but I always go back to 240hz OD60 with 236 fps cap +Vsync , I'm much more consistent with these settings than with 280hz OD80 or every other refresh/overdrive combination. If you want to use ELMB-Sync absolutely avoid using it with Adaptive Sync, the double strobe creates...
