Re: Is this too much backlight bleed?

This is pretty excessive in my opinion. Note that the orange-ish spots are not backlight bleed, but IPS glow, and it's normal for this panel technology. However, the fainter and more blue-ish spots are indeed backlight bleed. It's a panel lottery, really. I used to play the panel lottery game, but e...

Re: Damaged matrix Benq Zowie XL2546k

Why not complain to the deliverer? It's their responsibility. Unless you damaged it yourself during transportation somehow, you should file a complaint. Don't know where you live but here the carrier would absolutely be held responsible for the damage.

Re: V-SYNC

Thank you for the links, I read your posts. So basically reducing framerate as low as it gets to keep it always as stable as possible is the only way to mitigate OLED VRR flicker, correct? Besides turning VRR off, obviously. I reckon it will not completely eliminate flicker anyway? I guess V-SYNC b...

Re: V-SYNC

Aye, it's just been recently that I started noticing VRR flicker in games on my LG C2. From what I read online there is no solution to this. There's that "tune dark areas" thing, but it's pointless since it raises black levels and kills the best thing in OLEDs - perfect blacks (or crushes blacks, d...

V-SYNC -- OLED VRR flicker

Hi, Are there any ways to make gaming with V-SYNC enabled more smooth? Normally it feels pretty juddery (more or less depending on a game). Didn't really matter if I used in-game or NVCP V-SYNC. OLED VRR flickering pushes me towards trying some alternatives... Since I play in 4K, reaching 120 fps on...

Re: OLED viewing angles?

Thank you for answering. So, OLED is also panel lottery, figures. That is so freaking annoying, really. I mean, LG C2 is not cheap, and yet you can get really bad panel. Mine is not that bad, but I've seen really bad ones, like with extreme blue tinting on the sides (which I had to return, couldn't...

OLED viewing angles?

Hello, I've been using LG C2 42-inch OLED TV as a desktop monitor for a few months now, as the main display for my new 4K gaming rig. For the most part I've greatly enjoyed the experience, especially true HDR. However, there's one thing that concerns me. I heard a lot of praise towards OLED displays...

Re: Best option for 240hz+ or more 1080p 23.8-25''

I understand, right now my 1080ti would not be able to reach 390Fps, not even in dreams. Your CPU is actually just as important as your GPU (if not more important in 1080p). Upgrading just your GPU won't get you such high frame rate alone. You need a powerful processor to push so many frames. The l...

Re: Best option for 240hz+ or more 1080p 23.8-25''

Can't go wrong with either VG259QM or XV252QF, they both are excellent monitors for competitive games. Note that you should only get XV252QF if you can push 390 fps or more all the time in your games. Remember that in order to fully utilize the refresh rate of your display, you need matching frame r...
