Re: Unplug your Hard drive
Sure this can be the case if your have an OLD mechanical disk (HDD) Not really the case if you only have SSD's and M2 SSD's.. But ofc a bad SSD can cause lots of interuppts and ask for priority in the Foreground but its not a common thing that the SSD would cause it. I still encourage everyone at le...

Re: In the end it was the stupid ethernet cable
The thing is actually ethernet cables may cause higher interferences (then we might think). I assume this could be a lot of cases nowadays. Cause moving the actual PC has an affect of how much the input lag is still there. Removing the Ethernet Cable doesn't do "that much" but it does something. Mov...

Re: Weird input lag at day time only
Couldn't this also due to congestionned network ? Obviously at 3.00 am there is lot less people connected than during day time... As mentioned many times before. Doesn't matter if Ethernet is connected or not. Changes either way because of EMI/EMF/RFI Hi all, First off it's been a while sinc...

Re: useplatformtick and/or disabledynamictick on mouse input lag
The last two quotes starts violating forum rules (to each other) -- but first original statement by kriegor about an off day is somewhat ambigious because there's no voice tone associated -- so it may have been interpretable as a friendly tip or something offensive I appreciate this sentiment. Opin...

TL;DR: ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Most latency problems is not electricity related, but it can still sometimes happen. Most newbies should not visit this EMI forum yet, as problems are often elsewhere. Please troubleshoot other causes first before posting here. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ TL;DR2: If you are confused, you are in the wrong ...

Re: HAGS (hardware accelerated gpu scheduling)
Wadupp, sorry for the late response!
In general its a trial and error test but if you are streaming keep HAGS - OFF
Otherwise its recommended to have HAGS - ON.
It's been measured before by a few people on youtube.
edit: It doesn't improve latency for me, just keeps the FPS more stable some what

Re: Reduce Input Delay (Mouse & Keyboard Buffer Size)
Tried that 4 months ago? It was actually extremely worse Tried what? A better mouse and keyboard doesn't make your pc worse, yes the polling rate is more "taxing" on cpu resources but if you have a properly optimized os then it's not an issue. I tried that exact keyboard ( cosair k65 mini ) and it ...
