Re: Firmware upgrade using Linux tool, requires no hardware

Assuming XL2411 v7 is simply the Zowie rebrand of the XL2411Z, and might be the same as V5. At least for the XL2720Z, the v7 firmware is just the zowie rebrand, and I saw no differences whatsoever between the XL2720Z V5 and XL2720 V7, besides the logo. I don't 'have access to any firmwares anymore ...

Re: Overclocking AOC CU34G2X

I got as far as trying to dump the firmware but flashrom doesnt have my chip listed as it's a MX25L3236F. Some vcp codes looked different from softmccs so I might try those. Also, when I checked the i2c addresses, displayport had 5, HDMI had 6.. Found a uboot patch file on macronix and driver but Id...

Add a display ID as an extension block on the bottom, and add your resolution there, anything over a certain rate won't show up where you put them

Re: Firmware upgrade using Linux tool, requires no hardware

Does anyone know how to add a chip to flashrom? I have everything working except my chip is a MX25L3236F or a MX25L3238F, I can't see it clearly in the picture I have, and it's giving me unknown chip rdid

Overclocking AOC CU34G2X

Does anyone have experience with bypassing input not supported black screens when overclocking? I have tried everything possible to overclock this monitor past 144hz, including CRU, messing with freesync, and etc. The only thing I found to work was PBP with two displayport inputs, and could get each...

Re: So Close To OverClocking Ultrawide Monitor

It has pip/pbp, see if it supports two different connections, also it has a displayport format in osd, true to put it to 1.4, also there's a low latency mode. You might have to turn off hdr and freesync in osd. Srgb mode sometimes messed with mine too, and you'll have to use the custom display mode ...

Re: So Close To OverClocking Ultrawide Monitor

I used to have an Acer ultrawide ed34ckr and got it OCed to 125hz at 3440x1440p, make sure you turn off freesync or adjust it in CRU, but I'd turn it off, also you only have 250nits so might as well turn off hdr. Let me look over it and maybe I can find something on it and I'll get back to you. You ...
