Re: XG248Q (Asus 240hz) Overclock

It's hardly possible if even possible even because it's limited by monitor firmware. How they will sell you brand new 360hz monitor if you can overclock 240hz one?

Re: Agon monitor + Nvidia + overdrive compatibility question

Overdrive is monitor's function. Only one thing from PC can affect overdrive and it's g-sync or freesync. Your monitor supports freesync. Just toggle it (enable and disable). You can check freesync status at monitor osd and see difference at https://www.testufo.com/ghosting#pps=1920

Re: Seeking advice for demanding game

Is that game Quake Champions? Cap to some avg FPS. Better cap by game itself instead RTSS or some other method. Or try different methods.

Re: Worlds First 360hz G-Sync Monitor!

I wonder what connection will this display use since 240hz @ 1080p is the maximum bandwith for DisplayPort 1.4. It's not limit for sure since there are 1440p 240hz monitors on market. Also there will be 5120x1440 240hz (link below) that imo will work with single displayport cable. https://www.blurb...

Niiiiiiice. Quake players will be happy. I hope there will be version without g-sync to get better price.

Re: XL 2740 and FreeSync on Pro Gaming

The another option is edit monitor name (or info) via CRU (https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thre ... tility-CRU), save it and apply so the monitor will become FreeSync incompatible.

depends on the brand and overdrive cause that asus seems like one of the best first gen 240hz tn
I want 300hz too because I play QuakeWorld but that difference can't be named "the response times are almost cut in half from first 240hz ones". Never mind.

the response times are almost cut in half from first 240hz ones interesting, where you saw that? tftcentral's measurement can't agree with this: Asus PG258Q (1st gen 240hz tn lcd panel): https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/images/asus_rog_swift_pg258q/response_9.png https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/as...
