Re: Removing the AG coating
If i ever have to open mine up again i'll try to do a quick step by step guide with pics. I highly recommend that you search around for guides on "removing ag coating" first and read all of them! Even the ones for different monitors. There's a lot involved, such as you want to make sure the monitor ...

Re: Removing the AG coating
I removed my coating easily by using paper towel (about 2 layers across the whole screen), and misting it with a spray bottle every 30 min or so for about 6-8 hours. You want to keep the paper towel fully saturated the whole time, but not dripping. Also make sure there are no air bubbles underneath ...

Re: G-SYNC and Dolphin (gamecube/wii emulator)
How well did it work? I haven't used Dolphin in years, but i remember it being very CPU dependent.

Re: GSync + SLI + Shadowplay = 1/2 FPS [even when not record
Well, I can confirm that it looks better and runs smoother without the GstRender tweak and No AA set in game, everything else Ultra. I don't mind the jaggies as long as it's a constant 120fps. Edit: It also utilizes all 4 cores very well without the tweak. However, in the case of G-Sync + SLI + Shad...

Re: GSync + SLI + Shadowplay = 1/2 FPS [even when not record
GhostOrange, thank you for sharing that! I haven't tried the inspector profile tweaks since i use ULMB for BF4, but i added the "GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount 4" line into PROFSAVE_profile and WOW! Makes me wonder why this setting isn't utilized to begin with. My results using the same location...

Re: GSYNC and SLI not working for 2x 770s
I wanted to mention that today I managed to get The Witcher 2 to work with G-SYNC and 2x770 SLI (after reinstalling drivers and such) (previously It was stuck at <10fps or crashed) and managing around 100fps and G-SYNC was so smooth I didn't know what to do with myself. Still can't get SLI+G-SYNC t...

Re: GSYNC and SLI not working for 2x 770s
I run sli gtx 670's. So far when testing g-sync with sli, it gets high frame rates (80-140+) but still appears like a stuttering mess. The only way I have been able to truly test g-sync and see it work is to use one card. sharknice, what games are you experiencing these issues with? Maybe I can test...

Re: Install Help [G-SYNC Upgrade Kit]
As of right now you can't switch to ULMB if your running a game that's set to G-Sync in the control panel, it will automatically switch to G-Sync mode. Hopefully a future driver will add the ability to switch on the fly regardless of settings. There's also a setting in there called preferred refresh...

Re: Install Help [G-SYNC Upgrade Kit]
PoWn3d, i also have gtx 670 sli, but i didn't experience that issue. If you haven't already try only connecting the G-Sync monitor. When i started mine up it was automatically in G-Sync mode, and that may have something to do with it.

Re: WARNING: Be careful with brown clip [G-SYNC Upgrade Kit]
Thanks Chief.
I got lucky indeed. It seems like you have to slide the clip towards the closest edge of the circuit board, and then it will flip up. Now I know.
Anyone installing this DIY kit should slide this clip out before mounting the PCB. It's kind of hard to get at otherwise.
