I think that you may be inferring way to much importance on the minor differences between these top tier monitors. Especially as it relates to your skill level is CSGO. Simple will still wreck you with a 60hz Dell. My obnoxious point being that you're not going to see a massive, if any, improvement ...

It's something to do with the monitor and LFC kicking off/on. Hopefully it gets fixed with a new monitor firmware or Nvidia/AMD driver. It's not just you.

I have a 27" G7 and it does have slight flickering in certain scenarios. If you use the G-Sync Pendulum demo and set it to simulate 40-60fps you can notice the flicker if you focus on the entire monitor screen instead of a specific object.
